Walking In Purity Of Thought And Action

[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), (2 Corinthians 10:5 Amplified)

So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit]. (Romans 8:4 Amplified)

Confession

Lord, I confess to my sins of immorality and impurity such as ______________ and repent of giving in to the passions, deeds and desires of the flesh such as ______________. I confess all sexual sins of____________________________________ and break agreement with their hold on my mind and physical body.

I repent of impure and ungodly thoughts and actions such as________________________. I break agreement with any generational ties to _________. I break all soul ties with anyone______________ involved in my sins of impurity and immorality whether they are real, physical or visual. By faith I send away all evil connected with said soul ties and I take hold of the attributes of the Lord instead such as holiness, all right thinking, forgiveness, restoration, healing, deliverance, provision and clean hands and a pure heart.

I break covenant with all familiar spirits connected with my weakness such as_____________. (if you don’t know what they are just as the Lord to sever all ties with any spirits that might be involved…or ask the Lord what connections there might be)

Lord, I ask you to forgive me and cleanse me from the inside out of all unrighteousness. I receive Your forgiveness and declare myself clean and holy. I also choose to forgive myself for I am not condemned. I am completely forgiven, therefore; fear, shame and guilt have no power over me for I am one the Son has set free. I am free indeed.

Declaration

I declare I am a blood bought son/daughter of God full of the Spirit and obedient to the Word of God. I do hold the thoughts and intents of the Lord’s heart and do not think on or succumb to the thoughts of the enemy. I am one who heeds the voice of the Good Shepherd and do not follow another. My mind, will and emotions are staid on Him and I think on what is pure, lovely, honorable, seemly and upright.

I take authority over my thought life today in the name of Jesus for I understand the acts of the flesh I struggle with start with thoughts I have not taken captive to the obedience of Christ.

No weapon of the enemy brought against me in order to make me fall into thinking or doing sexually immoral or unclean actions shall prosper for I submit myself to God. I resist the devil and he flees from me. I do not war this day with physical weapons but with the weapons of God which are mighty for the tearing down of stronghold.

I declare the strongholds of______&_______are torn down in my life…in my thinking and in my doing. I am a new man/woman in Christ and all things including my thoughts and actions are new right now. I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I or any wrong desires that live but it is Christ who lives in me the hope of glory. All the appetites of my flesh and human nature…all it passions and desires are crucified in Christ and have no power over me today.

The lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life have no power over me today for I am one who delights in the law of the Lord. I choose obedience over sacrifice. My soul is fulfilled in the Lord alone. Nothing else satisfies me. I do not crave sensual gratification for I clothe myself in the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision to think on the evil cravings of my physical nature.

As I speak these words of Scripture my mind is being renewed and all negative pathways are being destroyed as the highway of the Lord is built in me. As I speak Your Word You release Your ability to overcome in me and I am not dismayed or cast down. Your Word is alive and active inside of me, cutting away all that keeps me from walking in victory today. The Word is full of power in me and I overcome temptation. Today, I declare I am free from all destructive habits. I throw away all evil actions, immoral behavior, or spoiled virtue. I cast it aside and for I have stripped myself of former nature.

Now, I arm myself with the full armor of God. I am clothed in the armor of God and walk in the Spirit in a disciplined manner.

My loins are girded with truth so all lies must flee. I submit to this truth and the lies cannot re-enter for I have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous light.

The breastplate of righteousness covers my heart, my mind, my will and my emotions. They are no longer in turmoil for I have righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit.

I wash the dust of the past off with the gospel of peace and am no longer bound by past deeds and actions. I am forgiven. I hold the shield of faith in front of my heart to deflect the fiery darts of the enemy when he comes to tempt me. My heart is set like flint and I shall not be put to shame.

I call for faith to awaken in me and stir a deeper hunger for righteousness and holiness.

I put on the helmet of salvation and declare I have the mind of Christ with is all right thinking and action. I do not have a spirit of fear but a sound mind which does not give in to the threats and intimidations of the enemy.

Finally I take up the sword of the Spirit and hold it over my heart, mind, and my innermost being. I declare old things have passed away and all things have become new and will continue to become new. I am new. The old man of my flesh which gave in to the sensual desires of the flesh is dead and the new man of my spirit lives.

Be Thankful And Rejoice

I thank you that I am free…that I am forgiven and I forgive myself. I love you Lord with all my heart soul and mind. I am blessed because I hunger and thirst after righteousness and righteousness alone. I now serve the Lord with reverential fear. I rejoice for the Spirit of the Lord is resting upon me to preach the gospel and set the captive free. I am clean and will not call myself unclean. I am forgiven. I am free. Amen and Praise the Lord
