ADD/ADHD Intercession

Intercessory Prayer for Another

For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! (Romans 8:15 Amplified)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 Amplified)

_____________ is engraved in the palm of Father God’s hand and is cared for by Him. Every hair of his/her head is numbered and she/he is the apple of Your eye. The enemy came to kill, steal and destroy but You have come and given her/him abundant life. I receive this abundant life for___________. He/she does not have a spirit of fear, but love power and a sound mind. She/he walks in a complete and undisturbed composure. Peace reigns and rules for him/her and they dwell on whatever is pure, lovely and upright. He/she is able to concentrate and keep a steadfast focus on any task at hand and walks in the fruit of the Spirit, exhibiting self-control in every situation.

Every weapon formed against him/her is destroyed for the Lord contends on his/her behalf. He/she is created in the image of God and holds the thoughts and intents of His heart. He/she casts down every vain, unprofitable imagination or accusing word that rises up against the knowledge of God. He/she embraces the truth in every situation and circumstance. The Word has set him/her free. He/she is a new creature in Christ Jesus. Old things—old ways of doing and thinking have passed away, and all things are new and are becoming new with each passing moment. Perfect peace rules and reigns in his/her heart keeping his/her mind staid on Christ Jesus. Wisdom to overcome is his/her daily portion for he/she abides in the secret place of the Most High.

As a created being made in the image of God—greatness is in him/her. He/she has the DNA of God and I call forth the greatness He has placed in him/her to the forefront of his/her life. I release _____________ from any negative self-assessment he/she has made in reference to ADD/ADHD. I celebrate who he/she is and who he/she is made me to be. I call to the forefront every diverse gift placed within him/her and call forth the fullness of the Lord’s multi-faceted beauty to be expressed in and on the earth through him/her.

God loves diversity and He loves him/her. Because He loves him/her, He formed him/her with great care in the womb, making him/her a visible demonstration of the Father’s heart. Therefore, I choose to accept the beauty and majesty of who he/she is and submit him/her to the potter’s wheel to be formed by the Lord’s tender loving hands. He/she hears the Lord’s voice and does not follow another, therefore; he/she will not miss one step along the way. The uniqueness of who he/she called to be is unfolding before my very eyes. I decree these things.Light and revelation are flooding the pathways of his/her heart and life. Favor with God and man are his/her daily bread. Amen.

This is so much needed for all of our families. I am a therapist praying for our children who are being tagged “ADHD” at the tender age of 2 and 3.

I will continue to pray this for them and those dear to my heart.

I am so excited to share my son’s testimony of being delivered from ADHD! I musy admit I would look and read the testimonies of others on this site and think “That’s great that God healed them, but it won’t happen to my son.” Well, I printed out the prayer and started reading it and then took action and reluctantly took my son off the meds. The Lord relvealed to me that I was trusting and fearing the meds more than I did Him. My son would be like night and day when he didn’t take his meds-unbearabl! It caused strife in the household and division and I knew the enemy was at hand. He could not control his temper and mouth. The Lord began to speak to both mine and my husband’s hearts to speak and call things as though they were. My son became curiosly and suddenly sick and he asked me in such desperation to pray for him to be healed, so I just simply declared and thanked Jesus that my son was healed at the cross and thanked Him for His promises and without any warning my son leaped out of bed and started yelling,”I’m healed.I’m healed. Oh my gosh! I’m hungry! Can I eat?” Well, I thought he was healed from the virus but it turns out he was not only healed of that but also of ADHD and insomnia! He woke up the next day and refused to take his meds because he said he was healed and doesn’t need it! He was right! It’s been 5 days now, which has been such a blessing and delight for us. Believe me we still have behaviorial issues BUT nothing as compared to as before. God’s word is true and we sometimes just need to hit a wall to allow God to get our attention, so He can do His wil and deliver and provide for us!

I was searching the internet to learn more about decrees and I found your website. When I saw the decree you had for ADHD, I got excited and right away started reading it aloud for my grandson Christian. He is 13. Then when I saw the testimony of the boy that was healed of ADHD, I was excited! I will continue declaring it over my granson until I see the miracle take place in his life. Definitely I will share it with you.

I was searching for a prayer regarding ADHD. I came across this site. I thank God for this prayer. In 2010 my twins started Pre-K. The Lord showed me, there were lots of kids on meds for ADHD at their school, that did not need to be on it. This was an attack from the enemy to get the kids like zombies, so they would not be able to hear the word Jesus and realize they could be set free. This year 2011-2012, my kids are in Kindergarten and my son’s teacher was treating him as if he was ADHD or had an attention problem. He would get all his work done in class. She singled him out in so many areas. I truly believe he is not ADHD. Yes, he may be hyper at times b/c he is a boy.

I will declare this decree on a daily basis for my children. Iknow we serve a mighty God that can deliver and heal. Amen.

Please pray for our Benjamin, age 13 and diagnosed with ADHD. We are in need of intercession as we have carried this burden for eight years. Please pray for his COMPLETE healing from this and for him to grow in stature physically. I will begin confessing the decree immediately. We covet your prayers for peace in our house.
